This year Easter fell on Conference weekend. We celebrated by going to Price on Saturday and then to my parents house on Sunday. The weather was yucky--snowing and cold! We were able to get an Easter egg hunt in at Grandma and Grandpa Dinkelman's before it got too cold. Parker wasn't too sure what we were doing, but Gavin had a good time and got tons of candy. The Easter bunny came on Sunday and left even more candy. Gavin was really excited for the Easter bunny and kept asking every morning if this was the day he was here. He got up early and found all the baskets before any of the rest of us were up. Gavin got a Star Wars T-shirt in his basket and was so excited about it. He wants to wear it every day. His dad has him completely brainwashed about Star Wars--but Gavin sure loves it.
We did things a little backwards and had our Easter family night after the holiday. Sometimes I wonder how much Gavin picks up on things-but the next day he was telling me that his Batman figurine was just resurrected. So I guess he does listen.
